The Cocorita or Melopsittacus Undulatus is a small parrot belonging to the tribe of large-tailed parrots. Originally from Australia, it is the most reared parrot in the world, both for the ease and flexibility of breeding, for the sociability and beauty of the song, as well as for the animal itself. It adapts to different environments and climates, resisting temperatures ranging from 4 ° C to 35 ° C, outside this range the animal progressively enters extreme living conditions. On average it has a size between 15 and 20cm, the "Cobalt" subspecies does not reach 12.5cm and "Wilson" reaches 22-24cm.
